No matter which kennel you buy from, a responsibly raised German Shepherd puppy should never leave without a complete paper trail. If any of the following is missing, treat it as a warning sign.

OUR APPROACH
How Casa Arancina raises its puppies
A well-adjusted puppy isn't an accident. It results from choices made before conception (pairing selection), in the earliest days of life (our ENS protocol), and through the following weeks (structured socialization).
The ENS protocol, days 3 through 16
We apply Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) on a strict schedule from day 3 to day 16 of life, engaging the nervous system while it's most receptive. Dogs raised this way tend to show better emotional regulation and handle stress more capably.
Socialization starts inside the home
Our puppies are raised indoors from week one, with daily human interaction and regular exposure to children, other animals, household sounds and changing environments. Basic commands are introduced before they ever leave us.
Every pairing is chosen on data, not looks
We track inbreeding coefficient, HD/ED outcomes, titles within the line, and longevity for every planned pairing. Visual appeal never drives the decision.

What's the right age for a puppy to go to its new home?
Never before 8 weeks — that window is critical for behavioral development. We aim for 8 to 10 weeks.
What goes into raising a puppy responsibly?
It starts with progesterone testing, choosing a proven male with solid HD/ED results, close monitoring of the pregnant dam, super-premium nutrition, our ENS protocol over the first 16 days, on-schedule vaccinations and deworming, microchipping, and filing the FCI pedigree paperwork.
What exactly is the ENS protocol?
Early Neurological Stimulation, carried out between day 3 and day 16 of life. It's associated with dogs that show stronger emotional stability, better adaptability, and higher stress tolerance later on.
What kind of temperament should I expect?
A properly raised puppy should be even-tempered, sharp, loyal and affectionate. Getting there depends on early socialization — in a home setting, with daily human contact and exposure to kids and other dogs.
Are these puppies a good fit for a family with kids?
Yes, provided they come from a temperamentally sound line and were socialized properly. Protectiveness toward family is a defining trait of the breed.
What should I feed a German Shepherd puppy?
