HOW WE CHOOSE

What it takes for a female to enter our program

A pedigree alone doesn't earn a place in our breeding program. We apply strict criteria, because whatever we decide today shapes every litter that follows.

What we require

  • Body structure matching FCI Standard No. 166, confirmed by an authorized SV judge
  • A stable, balanced temperament, tested under real conditions rather than only in the show ring
  • HD/ED certificates backed by radiographic validation, grade A or B
  • DNA test on official registration
  • FCI pedigree with lineage we can verify across at least three generations
  • At least 20 months of age before her first mating, in line with WUSV rules

Ongoing health care

Our active females receive routine veterinary checkups, genetic screening and a care plan built around each individual. We keep to SV Germany's required spacing between litters — breeding here is deliberate, not industrial.
